If you discover content hosted on Fileay.com that you believe is illegal, harmful, fraudulent, malicious, infringing, abusive, or otherwise violates our policies, you can report it for review.
We investigate abuse reports in accordance with our Terms of Use, Acceptable Use Policy, DMCA & Copyright Policy, and applicable law.
For abuse-related questions or reports, contact:
1. Help Keep Fileay Safe
Fileay allows users to upload, store, download, and share files.
Most users use Fileay legitimately. However, file-hosting services can sometimes be misused to distribute harmful or prohibited material.
We encourage users, rights holders, security researchers, and members of the public to report suspected abuse so that our team can investigate and take appropriate action where necessary.
2. What You Can Report
You may report Fileay-hosted content involving issues such as:
- Malware or viruses
- Phishing
- Fraud or scams
- Copyright infringement
- Trademark infringement
- Illegal content
- Child sexual abuse material
- Non-consensual intimate content
- Stolen or leaked data
- Privacy violations

REPORTING A FILE
3. Information We Need
To help us investigate efficiently, please provide as much relevant information as possible.
Your report should ideally include:
File URL
Provide the complete Fileay URL associated with the file.
Reason for Report
Explain what type of violation you believe has occurred.
Description
Describe why you believe the file violates Fileay's policies or applicable law.
Your Email Address
Provide a valid email address in case additional information is required.
Supporting Evidence
Where appropriate, include screenshots, ownership information, security findings, or other relevant evidence.
4. Always Include the Exact File URL
The most important information in an abuse report is the exact Fileay URL.
For example:
https://fileay.com/...
A report that only states:
"There is malware on Fileay"
may not provide enough information for us to locate the content.
Whenever possible, copy and submit the complete download or file-sharing URL.
5. One Report per Issue
For simple reports, submitting one affected URL per report can make investigation easier.
If your report concerns many related files, you may provide multiple URLs in an organized list.
For large reports, you may contact:
MALWARE & SECURITY

Report a file if you believe it contains:
- Viruses
- Trojans

- Malicious archives
- Other malware

7. Reporting Phishing
You may report Fileay links used as part of:
- Phishing campaigns
- Fake login pages
- Credential theft
- Account impersonation
- Fraudulent payment pages
- Fake verification pages
Include the Fileay URL and a description of how the file or link is being used.
8. Security Vulnerabilities
If your report concerns a vulnerability in Fileay itself rather than a user-uploaded file, clearly identify it as a security issue.
Please contact:

REPORTING CONTENT NOT HOSTED BY FILEAY
36. External Websites

If another website merely mentions Fileay or links to content hosted elsewhere, the appropriate report may need to be sent to that external service.
